We just bought a standard sleeper sofa to convert a bedroom into an office from West Elm. We also shopped Room & Board and Macy's but that was a few months ago
We just bought this one from Room & Board: roomandboard.com/catalog/li.... We got an L shaped configuration and were out the door at around $4k including delivery. You can choose any configuration and couch depth as well.
It's not a U-shape, but we got our family room sectional at Pottery Barn way back in 2015 (seems like yesterday), and it is still going strong and looking fresh with daily usage.
I bought one last year from Couch in Ballard on the recommendation of Sara Eizen - I thought they had a beautiful selection and they've been great to work with. I will admit that my son was able to take down one leg of the couch by treating it like a jungle gym throughout COVID, but I can't really blame them for that. Couch sent someone out to fix it right away free of charge because it was under warranty.
HIGHLY recommend COUCH in Ballard - USA made, custom dimensions, choose your cushion firmness and best selection of fabrics by far, especially if you need it to be kid and/or pet friendly. Plus you're supporting a local independent store which is more important now than ever.
We bought our stantonsofas.com sectional in 2017 and is has held up beautifully. Super comfortable, USA made and lifetime warranty. Easy to replace parts or cushions if washing them doesn’t get out a stain. You get to custom order fabrics and colors.
I love the Stanton Brand. They are made in Oregon, so a US company. You can find them at a lot of furniture shops. I would say to try their website: stantonsofas.com. And the best pricing on them will be at Sansaco furniture down in South Center.
