Free major appliance pickup?

I have a working dryer, however the timer is missing a small part which needs to be replaced for it to function without unnecessary struggle. It has been impossible to find the small part without buying the larger component that encases it, which costs $100.

I'm opting to buy a used dryer from OfferUp in stead, and I'm curious if there are any organizations/services that will pickup or recycle my (almost) functioning dryer for free?

I think that DOES exist - fastfreeapplianceremoval.co.... Haven't tried it myself.

Junk haul would typically be $100. They will come into your house and you don't have to do anything. Pretty handy, especially if you have a few things to unload.

If you are a Seattle Public Utilities customer, they will pick up large items for a small fee. I think you need to call them, though. We've done that too, real easy.

Putting an answer here for future searches: Cousins Hauling has a low fee pick up. On the last Wednesday of the month, they pickups all over Seattle for just $25. Cousins is LGBTQ and woman-owned.
