Vinegar & Baking Soda for hard to clean surfaces and oven! Also love the Mrs Meyers products for everyday cleaning. For extra care, I’ve used Stanley Steemer to clean tile floors, grout and stairway carpets. I’ve been pleased with their work in years past!
1) Ben A Qui - miracle worker for removing hard water spots on literally every surface and removing stuck on stains and rust, restoring luster to chrome, and so much more!
2) Bon Ami - great for so many surfaces: hard-to-get-stains off baseboards, tubs and soap scum, glass shower doors, counters with stains, sinks, cabinets.
3) My new favorite because of the scent (I use it constantly now for my counters and bathroom): Zum All Purpose Spray.
As an Indoor Air Quality specialist, I stay a way from cleaning products that are so chemically laden because they affect the air in the home and everyone in the home. The fumes from these cleaners and formaldehyde from water circulate in the air (that includes anything edible on countertops) and breathed in/ consumed ending up in the lungs, breathed in through the skin etc. That's how people have become so allergic to foods they've eaten all their lives, and not forgetting they exacerbate allergies, asthma upper respiratory problems and even sleeping and snoring.
