Has anybody tried the liquor made by Wheyward Spirit?

I met the founder Emily Darchuk at a Female Founders Alliance event. Wheyward Spirit (www.wheywardspirit.com) is based in Portland. They produce vodka-gin-rum style alcohol using whey, the liquid leftover from making cheese. Has anybody tried it and if so what do you think?

I recall tasting it at an event somewhere along the way, and could not detect any cheese flavor! It tasted like any other (well-made) spirit. Love the idea.

I tasted it when I met Emily Last year at WeWork Labs, and loved it! It was smooth and great to sip - though it would also be wonderful in cocktails. Flavor-wise, I recall the tiniest hint of vanilla.

Yes, it's really good. And love the environmental goodness that it's made from. Very good stuff.

It delicious, reminds me of a mild unfiltered sake.
