Have You Ever Had Baseboard Heaters?

We can't tell if ours are broken or not because it's our first time experiencing what could just be shortcomings. I've got the heat on at 80 today and can lay my hand on the heater and not get burned, but can feel that there is some heat coming out. Should I be able to do that? I have no point of reference! I don't want to waste an electricians time (or our money) if we just have a drafty house. But I'm freaking freezing and working from home with frozen fingers is not the jam. Help!

Try All Climate. They here out in a jiffy when our furnace went out.

I have them all over the house....when mine did this, it had to be replaced. They are fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. If you just get the SKU on the heater (bottom level of heater), you'll be able to look it up.

They are usually warm to the touch i cant judge the output. You should defiantly feel heat rising. If you touch the fins inside if will likely burn you. Let me know if we can help we are both a electrical and HVAC contractor. There are far more energy efficient and safe ways of heating your home with a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump.
