I need to have a lamp modified

I have a lamp that I love that's made from a flute. It's a little too tall though and I need it cut down. Do you know anyone that would do that kind of work? Seems like all the folks on the home shows have someone they go to that will turn their flea market finds into chandeliers -- I need somebody like that.

I would go check out Harold's Lighting on 45th in Wallingford. They do custom work, and if they can't do the metalwork involved in modifying a flute, I bet they would know who would.

Thanks Steve, Harold's Lighting is a good thought. I haven't been there in years and it would be nice to visit again just to see what they've got these days.

I love these kinds of fixtures! Would love to know how Harold’s works out.

Besides Harold’s there is a shop in Lake City Way that used to repair lamps and perhaps they still do. They were excellent.

Thank you Steven -- always good to have more than one choice.
