Need a general helper/handyman

Does anyone have someone or a company who is a general helper/handyman type that can do short but intense jobs? For example, I need to move a couch from one floor to another and no way can my husband and I do it.

Hi Elissa! A bunch of people have had good luck with the Dolly service for this specific type of job. I've had a couple good experiences and a difficult one with them (it was a more complex project, maybe that's why?) For other handyman projects, I like The Fix-It Sisters (Kelly).

If you are moving something, definitely Dolly. I've used them a handful of times and had great results. Handyman is another story!

I do not have a person like this (beyond calling my brother for help), but just wanted to wave *hi*! Hope things are lovely with you Elissa :-)

I'm checking with my handyman for you. I'd also recommend Dolly for furniture moving.

Wow - thank you Liz, Adam & Alicia! Hadn’t heard of Dolly but gonna use them. Also appreciate the handyman thoughts too.

And hi Rand! ;)
