I can't speak to bikinis but head over to the Downtown Waterfront Arts District, enjoying good brews, good music, good food, art shops and murals. Lot's of fun shops that carry unique products, I'm sure you'll one or two carrying the must have item. Post and let us know your favorite.
As far as brands go, I love L*Space and Vitamin A. I'm trying hard to only shop sustainably, and so I've bought some suits on Poshmark secondhand. Some people are grossed out by that idea, so maybe it's not for you. But some of the suits are NWT, and the deals are great if you can live with last season's colors/styles.
