Personal Injury Lawyer - specializing in health

HI! Does anyone know of anyone that is experienced with litigation regarding mold? Looking for consultation and potential representation wherein a building is held accountable for the mold infestation that attributed to detriment of it's inhabitants. THANKS!

Hey Amy. You might want to start with the Seattle Tenant's Rights Hotline - tenantsunion.org/programs/t.... I called them once and was blown away by how good they were. You also may want to check out the WA state laws pertaining to landlords and tenants. I didn't find it that hard to read. Look, here's a section that references mold! apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default...

You will have trouble finding a lawyer who wants to deal with small cases. They will tell you to go to small claims court.

One important thing - start documenting what's happening. Take pictures. Save emails. If you send something to your landlord, use certified mail so you can prove that it was received. If you make it to court you will need this, otherwise you have no hope of prevailing. Start a folder or a Google Doc.

Sorry you have to go through this...

HI Adam - yes, done, done and done already. Just curious if someone will know someone - I figure it can't hurt to ask.

The Davis Law Group was handling some of the mold cases against Seattle Children's - I wonder if they'd be a good fit or if they'd refer you out if not...

One more... an attorney friend recommended Sim Osborn from Osborn Machler (also involved in the Seattle Children's case).

Amy - Sim has been very successful but takes on some big settlement cases. Not sure how big your claim is
