Pet Insurance vs wellness plans?

Pet Pawrents: If your pet is either on an insurance plan or a wellness plan, which company/vet do you recommend? Just got myself a pandemic kitty!

I myself need to get pet insurance for both my kitty and my dog, but we do like our vet! We use Eastlake Veterinary Hospital.

We love our vets- we have 2 because sometimes the natural approach helps solve things that traditional isn’t.

All Pet Vet - Shoreline NE
Seattle Natural Vet - Ballard

Amy Woidtke Thank you! Had no idea natural vets existed :D

My pleasure. There are quite a few of them around the Puget Sound. I found SNV when I was pet sitting - clients had a cat with issues that were much alleviated through natural care vs traditional. Watched similar experience of another cat client who had great results with an infected paw pad that wasn't clearing up through traditional vet care.

We’ve had good experiences with Banfield Pet Hospital in Ballard.

Amy Woidtke I'll have to recommend them to my friend whose dog has had issues with yeast infections on his paws!

Kathleen Baxley Thank you! Are you on one of their wellness plans? Is it worth it?

Yes, I’m on a wellness plan for my 11 yr old dog. I’m very happy with it. Covers wellness checks, routine shots and maintenance, vet time, dental, minor injuries plus discounts/competitive pricing on the rest. $55/mo and no copays, no hassles.
