10 Best Austin Cafes

  • 121 Pickle Rd, Austin • South Austin
Elexa Martinez - The boozy coffee is literally everything! The regular coffee is superb as well. They have an incredible outside space with chickens, a pond and the mexican food trailer is so delicious. I can find myself spending hours at cosmic with friends or on a date.
Liz Stella - It's great to have more places like this in Austin where you can get adult beverages or coffee but it still be family-friendly. Great outdoor space with food trucks, plus live music sometimes too. Always popular for all ages!
Dagan Martinez-Vargas - One of my top 2 favorite coffee houses in south Austin. Has a full bar and plenty of shaded outdoor area. Parking sucks!!!!

  • 3704 Kerbey Ln, Austin • Rosedale
Elexa Martinez - Kerbey lane is such an Austin staple. Their kerbey queso is one of the best in town. They always offer a gluten free pancake and their seasonal menu is alway top notch! They offer a kids eat for free night and some of their locations have playgrounds. They are super family friendly and the kids love going.
Cindy Hawkins - Kerbey Lane offers a great variety of gluten-free menu items.
Dagan Martinez-Vargas - we love the south Austin location. The downtown location is too small and busy..... but iconic.

  • 4204 Menchaca Rd, Austin • South Lamar
Elexa Martinez - We love their wonderful courtyard and family friendly environment outside. They have excellent coffee with a couple trailers for food options. They also have a nice beer and cider selection. The wifi can definitely be spotty at times depending on how busy and can be noisy inside if you're looking for a space to work.
Dagan Martinez-Vargas - HUGE outdoor seating. I am here at least once a month.
Tanya Metaxa - Such a cool and relaxing place. Plus, having a Veracruz food truck on the premises is just the best.

  • 1601 W Koenig Ln, Austin • Brentwood
Elexa Martinez - Brentwood is one of my family's all time favorite spot for coffee and play. We can't wait till the whole place is back open again and they start having the amazing kids shows on Saturday mornings again. They have an amazing pirate ship playground available for renting till they open up again and the coffee and snacks are superb.
Julio Martinez - The coffee is good.
  • 807 E 4th St, Austin • East Austin
Liz Stella - This is a great event space and bar/café that's an essential place to visit in Downtown Austin. Very cool vibes inside, I've seen live music, performances, album launches, screenings... you name it. They also have art murals outside for those that need selfies. A cool place to go, period.
Dagan Martinez-Vargas - Fantastic vibe. Like a modern day version of where Sinatra would hang out. Great art all over the wall. It is so Austin!
