Kathleen Judd - Hi Sam. We used to take Rizzo to Bonefide. Great caretakers and she would come home exhausted. We’ve also used Camp Happy Paws (smaller than Bonefide) and liked that too.

Our dog had a blast here on our last trip out of town. She played all day, slept in the shared dog-quarters at night, and the staff was great about giving her a break during the day.

We have been taking our dogs to Bone-A-Fide for over a decade and always have had the best experience. Both of our dogs had health issues in their older years and we really appreciated the separate section for older dogs and the extra care that our older dogs received from the staff.

Dog Boarding

Large Dog House-- a multi-room house that has been converted into a house just for dogs. Six different dogs assigned sleeping areas, equipped with beds, couches and open kennels.
Lodge - best for dogs that sleep in their own kennel at night.

Boarding Tips

You will need to provide a copy of your dogs' current vaccination and fecal records, including the following: Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and a negative fecal test within the last six months.
Sunday-Friday drop off your dog between 7:30 am and noon, to ensure easier socialization. On Saturdays, please drop off boarding dogs between 7:30-10:00 am.
Pick up your dog anytime between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm(late pick-ups will be charged a fee).

Dog Daycare

Drop-off dog daycare is available seven days a week. Bring your pet anytime between 7:30 am and 10:00 am, and pick them back up anytime before 6:00 pm.
Door-to-door dog daycare van service is available Monday through Friday at 8:30 and 10 am for pick-up and drop-off at 3:30 and 6 pm your home.
Van service is currently available in: Ballard, Queen Anne, Fremont, University District, Magnolia, Capitol Hill, Wallingford, Greenwood, Greenlake, Northgate, Wedgewood, Ravenna, and parts of Bothell and Kirkland.
