Liz Pearce - Call Jerry the Bee Guy! I had a similar problem and he came out and diagnosed it for me. (Turns out no action was required in our case.) PS his name isn’t really Jerry.

Jerry is the man. Had bees living in our attic and Jerry kindly escorted them off the premises in about 20 minutes. Super friendly and super efficient.

My neighbor! Super nice guy and really knows his stuff. He got a hive out of our fireplace wall - no chemicals. This is the way to deal with wasp nests in and around your home.
