Doane Paper

This is a great line of project or idea notebooks that are great for writing or sketching ideas in. I generally buy a new one for every new project as I get started!

I bought one of these based on a recommendation from a friend. I'm glad I listened! Though I am usually sitting in front of a keyboard, I always have paper nearby for taking notes or even just doodling my way through a meeting.

These notebooks are high quality and reasonably priced. The spiral is sturdy and hasn't bent yet, unlike the cheap notebooks I used as a kid. The cover is a thick material, perhaps hardboard? The paper itself also has a pleasing texture and won't tear loose by accident. I also like that each page has grids as well as slightly darker lines for writing.

If you use notebooks regularly, consider upgrading to a Doane. Great experience.
