The Oasis on Lake Travis

great place to have a drink and walk around to enjoy the views. If you want to order food, it is overpriced and is not great tasting.... cause you are there for the view. You should experience it at least once.

When I go, I go knowing that there will be a long line, parking will likely be difficult, and it's going to be PACKED.

But this place overlooks Lake Travis and the view is absolutely stunning. It doesn't matter if you're a local, or just visiting, you will always be impressed with the lake. Did I mention the view is spectacular (it really is).

The drinks are good. Once in a while they do live music. Theres an independent brewery upstairs that is popular with folks waiting for their table downstairs at the restaurant. Also, theres a small shopping center that is adjacent to the restaurant as well (to kill some time before being seated).

Great for sunset dates. Family friendly. The food is not my favorite, but not bad…. but that view makes everything taste just a bit better.

The view from The Oasis at sunset from one of the many tiered outdoor decks is breathtaking! They serve Tex-Mex and you can enjoy live music too! We love to celebrate special occasions here.
