Estate Planning and Asset Protection for My Parents

My parents have decided to redo their wills and also to make sure their assets are protected etc.

Anyone have an experienced estate planning and asset protection attorney that will consult online?

Hey Sarah, just recommended Jennifer King at Law360 earlier on Fresh Chalk. She's a former colleague at DWT and is incredible Estate Planner!

Hi Sarah! I asked the same thing a couple weeks ago and got some great recommendations in this thread: freshchalk.com/a/i-need-to-... I haven't made my final decision yet...

Natasha Black did a nice job with our estate plan. We went to school together and both ended up moving to Seattle. Sharp and very trustworthy. I bet she'd do remote, no problem.

We have had good results with Adam Barnes. Based in Everett but I know he hits a few coworking spaces. lawyer.com/firm/law-offices...

This is what I recommended to Liz:
Hi Liz - as you know we (www.Coldstream.com) work with our clients on all aspects of their personal and financial lives. Estate planning is one of the planning items we address - typically laying out all the options and then partnering with an estate planning attorney to execute. We have worked with Kanoa and many others. I think you would love Laura Hoexter from Helsell Fetterman

Hey Sarah - I can't recommend Karr Tuttle karrtuttle.com enough. We had some really difficult things to plan through - including out of state parents nearing their 90s with property in 3 states, an irresponsible sibling, a family business and and a few kids in the family who likely were going to need some level of support as adults due to medical conditions. KT worked its way through all these issues in a straightforward, easy to understand way and created the documents for whatever scenario might occur.

Marston - complex issues require more expertise that goes way beyond a simple will. Hope you got it all worked out
