Hot tub purchase and installation

We are interested in buying a hot tub for our property in Cle Elum. I have no idea where to start. Tips? Recs?

also, check out Evergreen softubs. A little different idea but a cool concept for sure.

Newcastle Life along those lines, Rebekah Bastian (friend of Tonya Ruf, Minda Lane!) also recommended an inflatable hot tub.

We had quite the hot tub experience. My advice is if you want something easy and can spend the money, use a hot tub company like Olympic Hot Tub. We didn't use them but a full service company will deal with power (you will need a dedicated outlet), moving your hot tub to the right place, and make sure it is up and running. We found the specific hot tub we wanted but used Overstock who just delivers to your driveway. Then we had to hire hot tub movers. And then find an electrician to set up power. Only to find the hot tub was leaking once it was up and running. And had to wait another month to get a service person through the warranty to come fix it. At the end of the day we saved money but had to wait a couple months before it was up and running. Good luck!

We did Olympic Hot Tub. For all intents and purposes, they did what Nina suggests and took care of everything. We had to crane it over our house. There are a lot of surprise expenses - electricity, foundation, etc. And then the maintenance is more than I expected. But, we do love our hot tub and are so glad we got a good quality salt system one. We got the HotSprings Vanguard.
