Looking to buy a new mattress

I want to buy a new mattress and feeling kind of overwhelmed with all the options. My key points for this purchase are ecofriendly, good support & durability. TIA!

Tuft and needle HANDS DOWN. Its mid range price wise in the "safe" category-crazy how toxic mattresses are!!

We got a Tempur-Pedic mattress a few months ago and we’re very happy with it (first time buying a memory foam mattress). It has good support and seems durable. Not sure about the ecofriendly part though.

Monica Kahio any thoughts on ecofriendly options?

I've had a Tempur-pedic for almost 10 years and it's still comfortable and supportive. It is eco- friendly and not made with heavy metals, like mercury or lead. It has very low VOCs (Volatile organic compound) which can occur during storage and being wrapped in plastic. It is Nasa Certified which means Scientifically studied and they use it in the space shuttle. Depending on where you buy, find out if the store treats their furniture with protective chemical sprays. If you hear someone complaining that their Tempur-pedic smells that's what happened .

I never thought I’d move away from a pillow top but the purple (while it took a bit to get use to because you feel light as a feather) is now my favorite. It cradles my body and it doesn’t retain heat like my previous, outdated mattress did.
