Makup Remover

I am struggling to find a good makeup remover to take off waterproof mascara and not pull on my lashes. What are your most efficient make up remover you use?

Makeup eraser. They’re seriously great just use water and it removes all makeup including waterproof.

I love the makeup remover from Mary Kay. It's like an oil that you put on a cotton ball and it is INSANE how much gunk comes off of your eyes!

Clinique - Take The Day Off

Bellame’s Hydrating Cleanser is my favorite. It’s a clinical grade 3 in 1 - cleanser, makeup remover and mask. This paired with a bamboo wash cloth has been a game changer for me. Fun fact: bamboo wash cloths are naturally antimicrobial and very gentle, unlike terry cloth which can cause micro tears on the skin.

I like the Hill Country Essentials Eye Makeup Remover from HEB. It is the store brand and works really well and is very budget friendly.

Using Micellar Waterproof makeup remover. Not super happy with it - rather greasy. The original Micellar makeup remover worked just fine on removing waterproof mascara and didn't leave me greasy.

Bioderma Micellar water from France is amazing, have used since it first was sold here. And for those that wear foundation and concealor and/or really any makeup or spf daily - Dermalogica Pre Cleanse is hands down the best there is. I worked at Ulta when I first became a licensed Esthetician - I've tried every brand they had. The Pre Cleanse was the best and does not clog pores and is ok for any skin. Its what you use before you wash your skin. Wipes don't remove enough of the makeup, which you can see when you do the tissure test. This product will remove everything without stripping. Removes all makeup - even my special f/x stage makeup. I have used both products for over 8 years. Even tried Shu Uemura, the originator of beauty oil and the Dermalogica out performed and just felt better. Eve Lom has a balm as well, which is really nice - but a tad pricey.

I’ve tried so many make-up removers. Miceller water has been a game changer for me. It’s so gentle yet takes everything off!

No offense to poster abt Coconut Oil, but it's highly comedogenic, meaning it clogs pores. But, even if you've never had an issue, it may cause more milia, which occur when heavy creams, oil and serum overuse is occurring. Those ugly little white-ish bumps that can't be popped. There's better choices and natural is not always the best.

I love Green Clean by Farmacy. It's a cleansing balm that you rub onto dry skin and can either rinse off or wipe off with a damp facial cloth. It's great for all makeup but super effective on waterproof mascara.

Stephanie Seals - I’ll have to add that one to my wishlist! Thank you!
