With Mothers day slowly approaching what have been your favorite mother's day gifts you have received or given I am always looking for good recommendations.
I got my mother a photo blanket for Mother's Day a few years back. It's a great gift for a mother who enjoys pictures of her kids and grandparents right on her blanket.
There are tons of local plant fund-raising sales (at least around Portland there are) and I always ask my boys to buy me some new plants! Although this year I'm also hinting that I'd like this turquoise potter's bench
Full disclosure, I am a photographer. :) Last year I had a dad reach out to me to purchase a family photo session for his wife for Mother's Day. It was a surprise for her, so he planned it all himself and she absolutely loved it. The gift of memories and family photos that mom actually gets to be in (since so many moms are the family photo historians) is such a fun gift!
If you haven’t checked out knackshops.com....it is amazing! They have a ton of beautiful gifts for mom and to date this is the only thing my mom has ever asked for as a repeat...she loves the herbivore coconut soak the most!
Definitely check out Story Worth! They will email your recepient a question a week and at the end of the year they bind it all together in a book. We just started this is February for my dad's birthday. He loves it and the kids enjoy hearing his answers.
My Grandmother died back in 2007 and she was an amazing cook. We have a few family recipes penned in her handwriting. A couple of years ago, I got a custom printed tea towel with my Grandmother’s shrimp salad recipe in her handwriting on it. My mother loved it. This Etsy vendor was great and sent me proofs before printing it.
