Roofer rec request: new shingles and backing needed for leaky patio!

Our ten-year old house was apparently shingled with asphalt sections that are too small for a shallow-pitched section of our roof. The result is rainy leaks coming through the patio ceiling and wet interior compartments - big bummer.

Current estimate from our builder's roofer includes new shingles and backing for this entire section, plus perhaps some replacement of interior wood structure, so this is no small patch job. I'd really like a second opinion from a first-rate roofer. Please help, good people of FC!

We had a great experience with Four Seasons Roof. They provided a highly detailed estimate for some roof repair work and finished everything on time and on budget.

I have a good one for you. My sister-in-law runs one of the largest roofing companies in the PNW, State Roofing. They are good people and the company does excellent work. Give 'em a call. This is a great time for roofing jobs BTW because there is a lot of slack in the system with the lockdown.

Hi Matt - if you don't mind, I'd love to chat more with you! I'm the product manager for a sales enablement tool for roofing contractors and would love to learn more about your process in choosing a contractor. Let me know, thanks!

Gina Tran - Fresh Chalk was my first thought for a second opinion after my builder's roofer gave us a vague diagnosis. ping me over at mattsho.be for more. Still in the process.
