Ruggable Washable Rugs- looking for opinions and experiences

I love the idea of a durable washable rug for high traffic areas in my home (I have 2 boys and a puppy so that's everywhere). Has anyone purchased a rug from Ruggable? Is it as easy to clean as promised? And is it comfortable?

Oh man, hi Erin, also Erin, I've literally scrolled through all 21 pages of ruggables and have the same thoughts, I just can't pull the trigger. Reviews seem great and yeah I love the idea of washable. I plan to buy this weekend. Also pretty neat they do free shipping! If we get no answers I'll let you know when I receive mine.

I have five Ruggable rugs in my house - I would say they are a great purchase for the price. They're a little fiddly when vaccuming (I was suprised at how thin they are) but they hold up well and stay pretty clean. I like them because you can have fun with patterns and colors and if you change your mind or your decor down the road, you're not out a huge investment.

I love our ruggable! With my kids, dogs and even husband, my rugs get destroyed and gross so fast! I got a 10’ ruggable for the main living room and love it. If one of the tiny humans or big humans make a mess or dogs create a mess with their raw hides, it’s an easy fix with washing! Up front cost may seem high but it will save you numerous rugs in the future!

My Ruggable just showed up yesterday! I love the pattern and the colors. I put in a really high traffic area of my home so I will keep you posted on how it holds up.

We have one Ruggable, and it's in our kitchen (in front of our sink), so it sees a LOT of foot traffic and spills and messes. I was brave enough to buy one with a predominantly light colored background with not a lot of pattern, perhaps foolishly brave. While the washing is super easy (mine is small), and it's gotten a lot of stains and spots out, it's not exactly sparkling like new at less than a year in. We probably didn't wash it as often as we needed to given where it lives. I'm eager to replace it because it looks pretty dingy, but still considering a Ruggable with some caveats. My advice would be: if you expect it to be high traffic, get something that will still hide spots and stains because "washable" doesn't mean stain-impervious. In addition, as far as comfort goes, these are thin/low-pile rugs. You would want a substantial pad if this is for plopping down on for television.

I love my Ruggables but be aware that they are not like real rugs. The colors are definitely different than the website and the texture is more like commercial carpet. That said, they wear great and being able to throw them in the washer is invaluable!
