What is your favorite at home jewelry cleaner?

My rings look so so so good when I take them to the jewelry store for their regular cleaning. But I'd like to find some kind of at-home product or method that can keep them gleaming in the meantime. Any favorites? Editing to add metal is yellow gold and stones are diamonds, in case that matters.

A jeweler specialized in antique jewelry recommended this product to me. I have clean sterling silver and gold with it with great results. Hagerty Silver Foam

At some point in my life I learned that most jewelry cleaners you buy are a mix of dish soap, ammonia and water. I make a mix of that and use a soft toothbrush for cleaning. I use just a couple of drops of dish soap, maybe a ¼ teaspoon of ammonia and the rest is water. I have an old jewelry cleaner jar that use for letting the jewelry soak for a bit before scrubbing and rinsing.

Julie Joyce - totally fair. I have a soapy type liquid cleanser that works fine enough. It just doesn't do the same level of cleaning I get from my jeweler. I think they use some kind of hydrosonic situation or something like that.

Very hot water with a couple of drops of dishwashing soap and use a very gentle baby toothbrush. I like to give them an extra shine with rubbing alcohol. Jewelers Mutual says only clean stones that are red, white, or blue at home. Be careful of the ultrasonic cleaning machines as if your diamond has occlusions, they can get bigger!
