I am a fan of natural products when it makes sense. I currently use and love my pillow filled with kapok that I bought about 5 years ago. I like that I can add or remove filler so it is the right firmness for me and knowing I am not breathing in harmful chemicals throughout the night. Definitely a worthwhile investment in my book.

We ended up buying a Hastens mattress, the most comfortable mattress you've never heard of. It's a high-end luxury mattress, and you want to be sitting down and breathing into a paper bag when you see the prices. But we had wasted money on other mattresses that all claim to be SO COMFY and SO GOOD for people with bad backs - lies, all of it. Luckily we got a great deal on it, and it should be the last mattress we ever buy - people hand these things down as inheritances.
