If you don't have a membership, you can still use Instacart -- but, if you have the time and inclination (should be about 30 minutes, but with the kids, maybe an hour) it would be a fun activity to do with the kids: iamafoodblog.com/hot-chocol... -- they give you ideas for what to use if you don't have a chocolate mold. But once you make a few of these and get the hang of it, you'll probably want to get the molds (amazon.com/3Pack-Silicone-B...) as these would be a great activity for the kids to make as treats for others. If you want to support a great local business, check out this place: chocolateman.com (they may have these bombs pre-made for you too).
We just got Hot Chocolate "Sticks" (similar concept) and Peppermint Flavored marshmallows from Trader Joes. Not quite as much of a foodie suggestion or as lovely as the Chocolate bombs but the kids liked them.
Thanks all - Ksenia Anske They are sold out :( Danna Redmond I literally was checking out my pre-order at Sweet Nothings and they sold out before I hit the buy button! Maybe they will make more before Sat.... Todd Emerson great ideas!
STRONG recommendation in my corner for Chocolat Vitale in Ballard. It is AMAZING. I don't know if she has "bombs" exactly but EVERYTHING IN THE STORE IS SO, SO GOOD. Highly recommend checking it out for all chocolate fanatics.
Good stuff here. Red Russak Yes please - would she mind if you shared here publicly? Gena Cook No luck - asked via FB and they said "not yet". Nice cookies though! Samantha Ogle Yes! They have and are in stock - just in Redmond, so a drive. Will keep in my back pocket. Diana Chamberlain Wow, amazing store. Not sure about bombs but must go regardless.
