White noise apps/machines

Anyone have recommendations for apps for playing white noise at night? I am currently using Spotify, but don't want my top song of the year to be Box Fan Loop for Sleep again

I use Relax Melodies. You can mix your favorite sounds (free version available). You don't have to leave your phone open for it to play and it doesn't drain your battery.

My favorite is either the marpac dohm sound machine which is an internal fan that doesn’t blow any air but sounds like a real fan, and the lectorfan that has artificial noise but also sounds really natural. Benefits to the latter is you can turn the volume up higher and it has more choices of different noises.

So we have the Hatch noise machine for both of our kids and our room as well. I love that you can control it via an app on your phone. It changes colors and you have a number of different sound options to choose from.

When my daughter (~11 years old at the time) was having trouble sleeping, we bought the AVANTEK noise machine for her and we were happy with the results (She mainly used the rain noise), though now she just sleeps with a box fan running to drown out the noise.
