Tried this new restaurant and can’t wait to go back again! The garlic naan was incredible. And everything was so fresh!

I recently visited Zest, a new Indian food eatery, located in Lakeway.

Although I went during the restaurant's soft opening, the place was busy. Theres an outdoor seating area in addition to an inside eating area. There is an impressive bar in the inside eating area.

The layout and decor was clean, neat, and reminded me a sleek and modern twist on a mediterranean type of vibe- lots of whites and blues. I had an opportunity to speak with the owner- the man is committed to providing a high quality product, and knows a great deal about cooking- this is not a money grab.

The food is fresh. When I say fresh, the restaurant doesnt have a freezer, so none of the ingredients are EVER frozen. The food was delicious. It does take time to prepare each meal since nothing is ever preheated or frozen. My meal reached my table about 30 minutes after I ordered. Well worth the wait.

This is a great spot for a solo, group, or date night. i will most certainly be stopping by again.
