Farm Fresh Turkey

I'd like to make a locally sourced fresh turkey this year. Does anyone know of a place to order one?

Marston Gould then how do you make yourself sick on eating nothing but turkey sandwiches for two weeks after Thanksgiving?

Crowd cow is the way to go, if that's local enough for you. Joe Heitzeberg - where are your turkey's raised?

They're almost sold out, but our turkeys - crowdcow.com/thanksgiving - are exclusively from independent family farmers in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Also, we have quite a few local farms for Western Washington for the other proteins here: crowdcow.com/shop-farms -- enjoy!

Thanks Joe! Are they fresh or frozen?

Frozen, but delivered in time to defrost. I know it may sound biased coming from me, but keep in mind: frozen is safer and fresher than fresh (because at fresh temps, meat quality and safety heads down over time, whereas when frozen, quality and safety is locked in.)

P.S. Their upside down Maple Pear Upside Down Cake and Sweet Potatoe Cheesecake is amazing! I am having them delivered to some of my friends this Thanksgiving as I can't stop by ala COVID.
