Best. Cake. Ever. Their frosting is fabulous, with cream cheese in it to add depth to the classic buttery buttercream. The cake itself is quite moist and tender, but also dense enough to stand up to the multiple layers. All their flavors are terrific--the family favorite is the Blackout. They typically have two seasonal flavors per month on top of their classic selection and we always try to snag a slice of each while they're available, even thought it's a bit of a drive. Totally worth it! Do recommend ordering online at 8 AM and then picking up in the afternoon on a Thursday or Friday. Weekends may have very long lines. Also, if you do order online, check out what additional items they have, such as cupcakes, when you get there--there's always an extra treat you'll want to add to your order!

Delicious out of the ordinary cake flavors and styles!

Deep Sea Sugar and Salt in Georgetown is the best cake in town. They don't do written messages, though, just flowers or other customize-able decor options. Some flavors are lighter, others more rich.
