Good electric lawnmower?

Looking to pick up an electric lawnmower as we move into the summer (yes I know it's only just spring). Looking for something with around half an hour of charge or so, which I think would be sufficient to cut the grass on my backyard. Ideally cordless too.

I like the Ryobi 40v platform. I don’t have the lawnmower, but I have their chainsaw and weed/brush whacker and like those. Being able to share the batteries is awesome and cost saving.

I can second that we have other products from the Ryobi 40v line, and they've been great. We also have the ECHO battery-powered line (the blower and weed wacker), which has also served us well. The only other thing I'll add is that don't do what we did! Stick with one system or you'll have lots of batteries & chargers lying around!

Thanks all. I think you've convinced me to look into Ryobi. I was looking at their 16" cordless mower here.

That is the mower we have, and it is great. Light enough that kids can operate it. So much quieter then our old gas powered mower. Had it at least two years, and no problems.
