Noise cancelling headphones

I have the loudest upstairs neighbors and tend to use my noise cancelling headphones everyday, but they are getting old and worn. Any recommendations for that new pair I should get?

I love the Apple AirPods. With a quick hold on them they go from noice canceling to regular!

I bought an off brand from Amazon, COWIN E7 Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones- because they were very inexpensive but the quality and sound is really good. I bought my husband some Sony WH-H910N Bluetooth Noise Canceling Headphones at Costco (about $140) and he said they are comfortable and great sound. If you don't mind spending more, we also had some Bose that were awesome, but then someone sat on them and broke them. Hope this helps

Apple AirPods or the AirPods Pro! Both are great quality for noise cancelling!

I love my Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones when I'm looking to get lost in my music. I've had them for a few years now and they're still in great condition!

Been using my sennheiser noise-cancelling headphones and they're awesome. My wife is constantly mad I can't hear her, so they definitely work (maybe too well).

Bose is still the best, but also the most expensive. That's what I use on the airplane and it's a serious upgrade. Can't imagine flying without them. Bose even replaced my headphones when the died five years after purchase!

According to Wirecutter, the Anker Soundcore Life is a great budget option ($100). Totally fine for normal (non-airplane) usage.

If you have the chance I would head on over to BestBuy or similar and try them yourself. I auditioned the top Bose and the top Sony. I like the Sony sound signature better--great midrange, tight base, but this is very personal. And the Sony were more comfortable for me, (again personal) which is important if you are going to wear them for hours. The Sony WH-1000X M3 is what I have (looks from the post above that they have an M4 now) They have great noise cancelling that doesn't color the sonic balance very much, and the swiping gestures for controls generally work very well. They saved my sanity on the daily bus commute for 18 months, the battery lasts a long time and no issues.

I've recommended the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones on my page after trying my partner's and deciding to get my own. The quality is really superior but I'm a little biased. Thoughts Galina Goren ?
