Best vacuum for those with pets?

I have a double-coat dog. As you can imagine, things are getting hairy around here and I'm constantly having to sweep and vacuum. I currently have a Shark upright that's meant for pets but I keep having to unclog. Is there a great one out there that I am missing? Preferably, bagless. I have had a robot one but it fills up fast because she sheds that much…

A robot vacuum for pet hair

I deal with the same thing with my 90 lb dog. I run the robot vacuum once a day plus use a brush outside every fat and to touch up I love my cordless Dyson - it really sucks up all the dog hair and then I empty it . It even gets all the dander .

We have the shark and it does an excellent job on dog hairs. We have two lab/shepherd mix. or ShEDperds. Highly recommend.

My pug sheds more than most dogs thanks to his double coat and I love our Shark Duoclean Lift-Away Upright Vacuum. It has a detachable piece specifically to use for pet hair on furniture or stairs. Can't recommend it enough!

Shark Duolean is the best for pet hair. The only setback to this vacuum is it is heavy.

I had a Dyson Ball for 13 years that did an amazing job with pet hair. Shark is also good too!

Shark always worked best - and honestly... a silicone glove or anything alike - will lift it all away

Sandra J - I have a Shark. I'm always having to unclog the middle upright handle. I have an Anatolian Shepard Dog though...she sheds a small chihuahua a day 🤣

Miele Pet -- it is the best on the market. It has the HEPA filter as well so you can keep dander and allergens under control. And I like the bagged as it keeps smells contained. With pets, the plastic "bag" gets smelly.

My chocolate labs fur is no match for our Dyson Ball Animal 2!

I have 6 dogs (don't judge) and use a robot vacuum almost constantly. I also have two large Winix air purifiers that also run full time. It is amazing the dander they pick up that the vac doesn't.

I have a long-haired cat and a Dyson Ball Animal. I love the versatility and ease of use of the vacuum. And I continue to be amazed at how much ick I dump each time I run it (it's not all fur!).

I use a roomba and then I manually sweep with a rubber broom in between! This is super helpful with hardwood floors especially

Kim Vondra - I’ve been very curious about the air purifiers and how much hair and dander they pick up!

We love our Dyson Animal v10. With two giant maine coons, and two really long haired gals, we have hair-a-plenty. I can't imagine life without the Dyson.

Kirby! It's old school but try to find these at thrift stores. They're amazing and do the job. Nothing on the market right now will really do the job like a Kirby.

Bissell Pet Pro works really good for us. You can use it on hardwood and carpets
