HI! I love the Denman brush. Not sure if you should get the 9 pin or 7 pin...depends on your hair. I also like these products: Olaplex No. 3 for hair mask As I Am Curl Jelly As I Am Double Butter Cream -
Hi there, I have wavy hair but me and my curly-haired relatives like Moroccan Oil products (I just use the original treatment). It helps to de-frizz and moisturize. It also smells incredible the entire day. Plus, a little goes a long way- I've been using a travel size bottle from Australia since the start of 2020.
For styling I use L’Oréal ever curl one day and ogx quenching coconut curl mouse the next. Ogx coconut curl shampoo and conditioner are great. I either diffuse or air dry.
I've tried a TON of leave-in treatments for my curly hair, and finally found something I love: VitalCurl Soft Defining Mousse (it's currently out of stock there but you can also buy it on Amazon). Your hair is kind of crispy as it air-dries, but once it's dry you can scrunch it and the crispiness goes away leaving lovely curls that last more than a day.
So my daughter has super curly hair and we have tried all the things I feel like. The only stuff that seems to work are the curly hair products from the Aussie line. I was actually amazed that the Aussie stuff worked but it did and now I make sure to stock up on them.
Haha ya. I don't know where my daughter got the curliness from cause my hair is straighter than a board. But we literally tried so many things and kept finding our way back to the Aussie products.
Another thing that is SUPER important - what you do with your hair when sleeping. I use both a silk pillowcase and a satin hair bonnet. Overkill...but sometimes the bonnet comes off while I'm sleeping so I like the extra layer. I have three bonnets and this is my favorite.
Charity Jedeikin is there any chance you could post a selfie in the bonnet?? :):) May I ask your favorite brand for a silk pillowcase? I've been meaning to get one!
There's the curly girl method, I've been meaning to try it but haven't had the time to fully look into it. Many people have recommended it. I believe involves avoiding certain shampoos and products that contain any sulphates or silicones after an initial 'reset' wash to remove any of these residues. A quick Google search got me to this summary article cosmopolitan.com/style-beau...
Of course! I have No shame. I took this as I was feeling super pretty in my bonnet, glasses and night guard and sent it to Jonathan to remind him of his fantasy girl. 😂😂
I'm a fan of Deva Curl as well. They have no sulfates or parabens and they have enough products for different kinds of curly hair. I've used this brand for about 5 years and love it.
I used to be a huge Deva fan, but stopped using them after the hair loss accusations/lawsuit...but it's good to know that such long-time users have not run into issues!
I have super curly hair and I love R+Co products. I love their High Dive shine and moisture cream and and the aircraft pomade (it's a foam pomade). I've tried Deva Curl and personally it didn't work for me. Made my curls really crunchy and weird. Hope you find something that works well for your curls!
I have a good solid wave going with my hair and have been enjoying the Gisou texturising wave spray at Sephora! It tames the hair without dampening the wave and isn't stiff like hairspray! Just apply to wet hair and let it dry naturally.
