There are many ways to support the racial justice movement, from joining protests to donating to organizations like the NAACP to writing to your lawmakers about policy reform. One other important way is with your wallet — by buying products and services from local Black-owned businesses in your community.
In partnership with Intentionalist, we’re bringing you this list of over 100 Black-owned businesses across 40 categories in the Seattle area.
If you want to help:
- Give these companies your business the next time you’re in the market for a new service provider
- Add a recommendation for any of them that you’ve had a good experience with (which will give them even more visibility!)
- Let us know if there are businesses we’re missing from this list.
Intentionalist is an online guide to intentional spending that supports small businesses and diverse local communities. They make it easy for you to #SpendLikeItMatters and support local restaurants, bars, gyms, shops, and more owned by women, people of color, veterans, LGBTQ, families, and differently abled people.
