This nonprofit was dreamed up by my buddy Matt. They are sending teachers all over the US a second monitor, which is a real lifesaver for remote learning. I signed up, they connected me with a teacher, and I sent them a monitor on Amazon. A real need and it was genuinely fun to help out.
About Two Screens for Teachers
The Seattle-based Two Screens for Teachers nonprofit aims to buy teachers a second monitor to dramatically improve their teaching capabilities during the COVID education crisis. A second screen allows teachers to see their students on one screen and lesson plans on the other. Their goal is to deliver 250,000 monitors to public school K-12 teachers by President’s Day Feb. 15, 2021.
How it Works
- Donors can fill out a form online and they will match you with a teacher. A 22” monitor costs about $115. You’ll have it shipped to the teacher’s school.
- Teachers can fill out a form and they will match you with a donor. The donor will buy you a free 22” monitor.
